Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Supply of Pilot Scale and Bench Scale Chromatography Skids/Units and Chromatography Columns. The contract comprises the supply and delivery of two (2) Pilot Plant scale Bioprocess Chromatography skids & two (2) Bench-Scale Bioprocess Chromatography units. In addition, four (4) Chromatography columns (Pilot Scale) are required (bench scale to be supplied with matching chromatography columns) (the ”Goods”). At a minimum, the Goods shall comprise the following: Pilot Scale: a)Each Chromatography skid will have a minimum design flowrate of 12 litres/ hour. b)Each Chromatography column shall have a diameter of 10cm and shall have be designed for a bed height of at least 19cm c)All Chromatography columns shall be supplied unpacked. d)Each Chromatography skid shall have product contact parts of 316L stainless steel and/ or PVDF e)Each Chromatography column shall have product contact parts of 316L stainless steel and/or acrylic. f)Each Chromatography unit shall have a minimum of seven (7) no. inlet ports g)Each Chromatography unit shall have a minimum of two (2) no. outlet ports h)Each Chromatography skid to include for buffer/ product inlet feed pump i)Each Chromatography skid to include for Bubble Trap and Process filter. j)Each Chromatography skid shall include all necessary valves. k)Each Chromatography skid to include for all necessary instrumentation. l)Each Chromatography skid to include any necessary safety devices. m)Each Chromatography skid to include a stand-alone control system for semi-automated operation, and all associated wiring. The control system shall output general alarm signal(s) to an overall monitoring system (by others). n)Interconnecting pipework between the components of each of the Chromatography skids is included in the scope of supply. Interconnecting pipework shall be fabricated from 316L stainless steel and/or PVDF. a)Each Chromatography unit will have a minimum design flowrate of up to 1.5 litres/ hour. b)Each Chromatography unit will be a stand-alone unit with integrated controller.
