The new treatment works facility will include the construction of:- 1. An Inlet Pumping Station. A Preliminary Treatment Unit. A two stream biological treatment system to cater for 1,200pe. A Sludge Thickening / Storage Tank. A UV-Sterilisation Treatment Unit. A Tidal Tank and Marine Outfall. The Civil Engineering Works for both the treatment plant and the pumping stations is included in the scope of the main contract (Civil Works Contract). This subcontract will be subject to the "Conditions of Contract and Form of Tender, Agreement and Bond for use in connection with Works of Civil Engineering Construction, Third Edition 1980" (revised 1990), subject to the amendments as set out in CONDOC for Water Services - Civil Works.
