Consultancy services for delivery of the national roads programme for Projects Funded by NRA. The National Roads Authority ("the contracting authority") is acting as a central purchasing body in respect of a multi party framework agreement ("the framework agreement") for the provision of multi-disciplinary consultancy services for roads related projects ("the Services") with an anticipated duration of 3 years, with a possible extension, at the sole discretion of the Contracting Authority, for a further 12 months. The list of public bodies that will be entitled (but not obliged) to draw down services from the framework agreement in accordance with the rules of the framework agreement are set out in section VI.3 of this contract notice. The services required are for three packages of roads related projects Package 1 dealing with the delivery of national roads projects in accordance with the 2010 NRA Project Management Guidelines for any part of a phase, a combination of a number of phases and any other general engineering consultancy services as required. Package 2 dealing with pavement and realignment projects. Package 3 dealing with minor road safety improvements. The services required in Packages 2 and 3 are required in three distinct regional areas; hence there are 7 Lots.
