Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: N52 Tullamore Bypass - Ground Investigation Contract. This contract is for the detailed Ground Investigation along the proposed route of the N52 Tullamore Bypass for a distance of approximately 14 5km. percussion boring, rotary core drilling, trial pitting excavation, slit trenching, compaction trials, geophysical ground penetrating ground radar, seismic refraction surveying, dynamic probing testing and standpipe installation and reporting. Testing of soil, rock and groundwater, including in-situ and laboratory materials. Testing reporting will also be required. The investigations are required to gain information on the ground and groundwater conditions surrounding and underlying the proposed route of the new national secondary road and associated works.
