In summary, it is intended that the scope of work will include: - Lot 1: Development of gas distribution network ('Period Works') and replacement of existing iron mains pipes with polyethylene pipes ('Renewals Works') in certain geographic areas, each involving planning, construction, construction supervision, project management, purchasing of materials from Bord Gáis Eireann selected materials providers and managing associated materials logistics, siteworks such as service laying, meter fitting and related activities, and liaising with third party contractors and customers of Bord Gáis Eireann; and - Lot 2: All works/services associated with the provision of an emergency response to events arising in the gas distribution network in certain geographic areas.
