Bord Gáis Éireann are currently procuring a Network Services contract under a separate competition, one aspect of which is the provision of emergency response and no gas services. These services are currently expected to include: Distribution emergency response. Response to public reported escapes of gas within a one hour criterion. Response to no gas reports to meet the requirements of the Bord Gais Customer Charter. This competition is to identify a number of applicants considered to be qualified to provide the above services. However, Bord Gáis Éireann does not intend to enter into a contract with any applicant who is shortlisted following this competition. Instead, it is envisaged that the names of the applicants who are shortlisted following this competition will be provided to the tenderers in the separate Network Services competition. Those tenderers may but are not obliged to contact applicants shortlisted following this competition with a view to including some of those applicants in their tenders for the Network Services competition. Applicants who have returned the pre-qualification questionnaire for the Network Services competition may also submit a response to this pre-qualification questionnaire if they wish.
