Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Life Safety Systems Upgrade Specialist Sub Contract Services. A specialist subcontractor is to be appointed and nominated to the Main Contractor. The Project involves the installation of the new Life Safety Systems (fire alarm, voice evacuation & emergency lighting) including carrying out the extensive compartmentation works that will be required in line with the proposed compartmentation strategy. Furthermore, the Specialist subcontractor will be expected to work with the Main Contractor who will be engaged to manage the overall construction project along with any builders work. The specialist subcontractor will be installing the new Life Safety Systems including all fire alarm systems and any Mechanical & Electrical works required to achieve the required design solution, throughout all the terminal buildings listed. It is envisaged that the Specialist Contractor will be nominated to the Main Contractor during October 09.
