The Institute of Technology Tralee has two campuses: The North Campus - 62 acres adjoining the Kerry Technology Park (50 Acres) The South Campus (c 6,9 acres) The Institute's long term objective is the development in full of the North Campus and to relocate all activities to the North Campus. The bulk of Institute activity is located on the North Campus with upwards of 60 % of our student population there. The South Campus currently holds the School of Engineering & Construction Studies; School of Science (excluding Computing and Nursing) and administration. The Institute has advertised publicly in the national media for expressions of interest from developers for proposals involving the North & South Campus. The Institute seeks the necessary professional advice & direction to ensure the best result for the Institute taking into account necessary procurement, corporate governance and transparency requirements including value for money for the tax payer. Project duration is up to three years and the successful tenderers will be appointed initially for one year. The contract may be terminated by the Institute at any time following the submission of one calendar month's written notice to the service provider. The successful service provider shall continue to supply the service, meeting the specification of this document, during any notice period. The contract may be terminated by the service provider at any time following the submission of one calendar month's written notice. In such event the Institute may contact shortlisted applicants in order of preference on the tender listing.
