Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Financial, Taxation and Insurance Advisory Services - NPRO. On 25.7.2005, the Tรกnaiste and Minister for Health and Children, Mary Harney, T.D. announced the Governmentโ€™s approval for a national network for Radiation Oncology services. A proportion of the capital investment is to be funded through Public Private Partnership (โ€œPPPโ€). The PPP is planned to be a single design, build, finance, maintain and partially operate project (DBOF). The NPRO (National Plan for Radiation Oncology) consists of a national network for the delivery of radiation oncology services consisting of 4 large centres, with 2 integrated satellite centres. The project will be delivered in 2 phases; Phase 1 to be procured traditionally by the HSE for interim facilities in Dublin and Phase 2, to be procured through PPP means, by the NDFA on behalf of the HSE. Phase 2 PPP project will be procured as a series of bundled projects comprising a single hospital or group of hospitals. The successful tenderer will be required to provide financial, taxation and as required, insurance advice to NDFA to support the delivery of the Phase 2 PPP project.
