Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Audit and associated services. CIE is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of statutory audit services for Coras Iompair Eireann and its subsidiary companies - Iarnród Éireann - Irish Rail, Bus Atha Cliath (Dublin Bus) and Bus Eireann. The proposed contract will be for a 3 year period with an option to extend for a further 2 years, subject to the annual approval of the Minister of Transport. The first statutory audit will be in respect of the calendar year 2010. The scope of the proposed contract also covers advice on taxation, financial and accounting issues that may arise from time to time.
