Aim of strategic procurement: Reduction of environmental impacts

Through the application of energy-efficient building services, low-carbon heating and ventilation systems, renewable energy technologies, and optimised building performance strategies, the consultant will contribute to reducing operational energy demand and associated greenhouse gas emissions across the housing portfolio. The integration of sustainable design principles and whole-life energy considerations will enhance the environmental performance of new homes, support national and EU decarbonisation objectives, and help create resilient, low-carbon communities that minimise their contribution to climate change.
