Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Provision of coordination services to the Enterprise Ireland Mentor Network programme. Enterprise Ireland invites suitably qualified and experienced service providers to provide Mentor Coordination Services to the Enterprise Ireland Mentor Network programme under the restricted procedure. Enterprise Ireland, the Irish state-sponsored body that supports the growth of indigenous industry within the Republic of Ireland, seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to act as Coordinators (up to a maximum of three) for its network of 200+ senior business people who volunteer to help start up and established Irish companies to grow under the Enterprise Ireland Mentor Network programme. The Coordinators will be required to ensure the effective management of the Mentor panel and carry out matching of mentors to companies. The contract(s) will operate for a period of 12 months, commencing in July 2010, with an option to extend for 12 months subject to satisfactory review and budgetary constraints. The contract(s) will be subject to an initial six month probationary period followed by regular periodic reviews of supplier performance. Each Coordinator will have a national, sectoral and regional responsibility. Applicants will be required to indicate the Sectors and Regions for which they wish to be considered. Sectors: Software, Internationally traded services, Cleantech and Lifesciences, Region: Mid East; Midlands and Border Region. Sectors: Food, Industrial Products and Retail Consumer. South / South East; Mid West and West. Applicants should note that the sectors and regions outlined above are guideline sectors and regions only and that the final appointments may incorporate a different regional / national / sectoral balance. The Mentor Network service to clients is delivered in line with EI’s strategy and mentor assignments are focused on providing advice and guidance to High Potential Start Up and Established companies on: O Ensuring companies have adequate access to finance. O Helping companies to win export sales. O Improving competitiveness. O Driving innovation and industry led R&D. O Fostering entrepreneurship. this process refers to the provision of a service to Enterprise Ireland and will not lead to a contract of employment within Enterprise Ireland.
