N7 Nenagh to Limerick High Quality Dual carriageway Test Trenching - Contract 1. The purpose of the contract is to undertake the archaeological test trenching of the site of the new Nenagh to Limerick High Quality Dual Carriageway. Contract 1 covers a distance extending from the new road's beginning close to Limerick city as far as the proposed Birdhill junction. This is a distance of approximately ten km after soft bog land is excluded. License eligible archaeologists are clearly esssential to the work which is to determine and report the presence of archaeological features along the route of the new road.
