N7 Nenagh to Limerick High Quality Dual Carriageway Test Trenching Contract 3. The purpose of the contract is to undertake the archaeological test trenching of the site of the new N7 Nenagh to Limerick High Quality Dual Carriageway. Contract 3 covers a distance extending from Castlecranna to the junction at the western end of the Nenagh bypass in green field site conditions (approximately six km) and ten km of test trenching beside a busy national road which is being widened as part of the main line works. Licensable archaeologists are clearly essential to the work which is to dertermine and report the presence of archaeological features along the route of the new road.
