ENQEIR847 - Consultation and Engagement Support Services

EirGrid plc

EirGrid Group operates and develops the electricity system in Ireland. Our 2020 - 25 strategy is shaped by climate change and the transition of the electricity sector to low-carbon, renewable energy. We have a unique role to play in leading the radical transformation that is required. Our strategy sums up our response to these challenges. It consists of a set of key goals, underpinned by our purpose to Transform the power system for future generations. The Infrastructure Office leads the development and delivery of the power system and interconnection investment programmes in collaboration with partners, customers and communities. The Public Engagement team is responsible for the development and implementation of the overall approach to engagement on our transmission projects with communities, landowners, local government, local stakeholders and consenting bodies. The Public Engagement team is seeking a focused and resilient partner to support the delivery of our engagement approach across our infrastructure projects as we seek to develop Ireland's national grid. When we work together with local communities, we can create a stronger and better electricity grid with the least possible impact on an area. โ€œEngaging for the Better Outcomes for Allโ€ is a fundamental key pillar of our transformation of the power system. EirGrid intends to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of these services. The Framework Agreement period will be for an initial duration of 3 years with the option to extend annually for up to an additional 5 years, subject always to the satisfactory performance of the supplier. EirGrid envisages qualifying 6 Candidates from this pre-qualification process, subject to the quality of responses received.
