Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Mulidisciplinary Design Team Grangegorman Library and Business Complexes. The services to provided under the Contracts are to be those of a Multi-Disciplinary Design Team providing, in particular, Quantity Surveying Services, Civil and Structural Engineering Services, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services, Project Management Services, Fire Safety Design and Certificate Application Services, and Project Supervisor Design Process Services in relation to the range of new buildings proposed for the Business and Library Complexes for the Dublin Institute of Technology on the Grangegorman site. Also, the Multi-Disciplinary Design Team will be required to provide a person with appropriate support to act in the role of Employerโ€™s Representative (in accordance with the Construction Contract) for both the Library and Business Complexes. Please note that Architectural design services are not to be provided by this Multi-Disciplinary Design Team. The Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA) is a statutory agency established in 2006 by the Irish Government to redevelop the Grangegorman site in Dublin city centre for education, health and other community facilities. The GDA is the body responsible for developing the site including all buildings. The Dublin Institute of Technology, one of Ireland's largest higher education institutions, is to be consolidated in new buildings on the Grangegorman site. The Business Complex will consist of the Business Faculty and other related buildings. The Library Complex will consist of the Library for the Dublin Institute of Technology and other related buildings.
