Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: Electricity Distribution System Enhancements MV. Works will involve the reinforcement of existing 10 kV mains and standby power distribution networks, switchgear and SCADA control equipment and generator plant to facilitate interface with the new 110kV campus primary power sub-station, and to accommodate future works development, to include Terminal. These works will include electrical, civil, structural, architectural and building services modifications. The Medium Voltage Network Upgrades will include the: — creation of seven (including future provisions, with works substantially below-ground) resilient normally-open MV loops sourced from the new 110kV Daristown sub-station, with diverse feeder A and B designations identified overleaf; — operationally-seamless transfer of campus primary power from 38kV to 110kV in February 2009; — upgrade of existing Terminal 1 (internal) Medium Voltage network distribution cables to facilitate increased load and prospective fault levels; — below-ground service ducts to accommodate future works power and SCADA cabling; — upgrade of Terminal 1, Airfield and Landside switchgear to facilitate interface with the new 110kV sub-station loops, and associated increased capacities and prospective fault levels; — upgrade of SCADA control and monitoring systems; — replacement of selected switchgear and transformers to improve system resilience; — alteration of network protection equipment and settings to improve over-current and earth-fault coordination; — upgrade of centralised SCADA-controlled standby and CHP co-generation infrastructure interfaces and control strategies; — project management from Award of Contract to Asset Adoption; — comprehensive system commissioning, certification and performance demonstration prior to DAA handover. The following future Dublin Airport 10kV resilient loop designations apply, with Loops 1 to 4 inclusive due to be fully operational by Q1 2010: Loop 1: Terminal 1 (operational from Q3 2009). Terminal 2 (A operational from February 2009, with B available from June 2009). Airport Landside (Landside East and West final configuration December 2009). Airfield (final configuration December 2009). Terminal 1 South (as required post-2010 by future Terminal 1 pier developments). Northern Runway (operational c.2014). Pier F (operational c.2014).
