Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Central Access Scheme - Site Investigation. The proposed contract for this scheme (the 'Contract') shall comprise the provision geotechnical information to allow the detailed design of 4.6 km of roads, river bridges, access roads, drainage structures, signage and the like. Including but not limited to the following: — Trial Pits, — Slit Trenches, — Cable Percussive Boring, — Rotary Open Hole (including Rotary Percussive) & Rotary Core Drilling, — Landowner Access Arrangements, — Sampling, — In situ testing, — Reinstatement, — Installation of standpipes / piezometers in boreholes, — Monitoring groundwater levels during and after the site works, — Laboratory Testing, — Probing of peat/soft ground areas, — Laboratory Testing, — Geophysical borehole logging, — Reporting. The contractor shall undertake the role of Project Supervision for the Construction Stage. Notwithstanding such the full scope of the Works and the obligations of the Contractor under the Contract shall be ascertained by reference to the Contract as a whole.
