Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: North West Waterford City Water Supply Scheme - Phase 2. The Scheme includes for the construction of a new service reservoir as part of the extension of the existing water supply network to service new housing and commercial developments in the north-west of Waterford City. The new infrastructure will incorporate a water tower and associated pumpset on the same greenfield site, and make due allowance for supply and distribution mains. Potable water will be supplied from the existing Carrickphierish Road Booster Pumping Station which is currently operating on a temporary pumpset. This pumpset is to be replaced under this contract. The new service reservoir will be constructed on a site located between the Carrickphierish Road and the River Suir.
