Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: A) Directional Drilling (including Measurements While Drilling and Logging While Drilling) B) Mud Logging Services. Shell E&P Ireland Limited, together with other Shell EPE entities, principally Shell E&P Ireland Limited, Shell UK Limited, NAM and A/S Norske Shell as a joint awarding authority (hereinafter Shell) shall identify via the United Kingdom based โ€œFPALโ€ and Norwegian based Achilles Vendor Qualification and Assessment systems, a list of suitably qualified contractors who may subsequently be selected to bid or negotiate contract(s) for the provision of: a) Directional Drilling and Mud Logging Services including Measurements While Drilling and Logging While Drilling b) Mud Logging Services. And other associated services in connection with Shell E&P operations in Europe. To be considered for this work Applicants must be registered on the First Points Assessments Ltd (www.fpal.com) or Achilles (www.achilles.com) under appropriate codes to meet the conditions for participation as detailed in Appendix III.2. The provision of Directional Drilling Services and related services shall include but not be limited to the supply of directional drilling systems of various hole sizes such as motors ranging from 2 1/8โ€ to 11 ยผโ€, Rotary Steerable Systems ranging from 4 ยผโ€ to 11 ยผโ€. Measurement While Drilling tools shall range from 9 ยฝโ€ to 3 1/8โ€. Logging While Drilling Tools capable of but not limited to measure Gamma Ray, Resistivity, Density Ligthology, Neutron Porosity, Acoustic Density in tool sizes ranging from 9 ยฝโ€ to 3 1/8โ€. It should also include but not be limited to supply BHA components such as Non-Magnetic Drill Collars 2 1/8โ€ to 9 ยฝโ€, Non-Magnetic stabilizers 6โ€ to 4 ยพโ€, hole openers 26โ€ to 48โ€, under reamers 26โ€ to 6 ยผโ€, Accelerator and Drilling Jars 4 1/8โ€ to 9 ยฝโ€. For Mud Logging Services and related services it shall include but not limited to the supply of pit volume sensors, toolpusher and rig floor workstations, direct pressure sensors, gas analysers, choke temperature sensors, Coriolis MW out sensors, cement pump strokes sensor, autocalcimeter. Shell reserves the right to award one contractor multiple contracts for the contract package specified above, or not to award any contract. Any award will be primarily reflect safe and cost efficient competence and capabilities for performing the above activities and on the basis of the most economically advantageous bid.
