To enable Shell E&P Ireland Limited, together with other Shell EPE entities (joint awarding authority) to identify via the United Kingdom based “FPAL” and Norwegian based Achilles Vendor Qualification and Assessment systems, a list of suitably qualified contractors who may subsequently be selected to bid or negotiate contract(s) for the provision of: a) Drill bits And other associated services in connection with Shell E&P operations in Europe. For the purpose of this qualification system the Shell EPE entities are principally Shell E&P Ireland Limited, Shell UK Limited, NAM and A/S Norske Shell (hereinafter Shell). The provision of drill bits and related services shall include but not be limited to the provision of drill bits of various types and sizes: PDC all sizes from 3.75” to 26”. Milled tooth from 4.125” to 26”. Tungsten carbide insert from 3.75” to 26”. Impregnated bits from 1.625” to 17.%”. Slim hole, bicentric bits 1.625” to 6”. Vendors shall be able to provide drill bits from all the categories above described.
