Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Supply Installation & Support of Diagnostic Radiology Systems For The Veterinary Hospital. The School of Agriculture, Food Science and Veterinary Medicine on behalf of the Veterinary Hospital wishes to equip two fully functional diagnostic radiology rooms with Bucky X-ray systems. One room will be for use on small animals (dogs, cats and juvenile farm animals). Animals may range from 1 to 250kg. The other room will be for large animals (farm animals and horses / ponies). Animals may range from 35 to 1000kg. Primary uses of the equipment- Both rooms. 1.The main uses of the equipment will be: 2.Imaging of axial and appendicular skeleton 3.Imaging of chest and abdomen 4.Imaging of head and tympanic bullae 5.Contrast procedures such as Myelography, angiography, barium swallows, Intravenous urograms, swallowing studies and respiratory assessment of tracheal collapse etc. Further information and additional documentation relating to this notice may be available on the eTenders Web Site at http://www.etenders.gov.ie/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=69095.
