Westmeath County Council requires engineering consultancy services in relation to N4 The Downs Grade Separation Scheme in order to advance the proposed development through tendering of the construction contract, construction and project closeout (Phases 5 - 7 of the National Roads Authority National Roads Project Management Guidelines 2010). Part 8 planning approval has been obtained and the compulsory purchase order statutory approval procedures have commenced. The scope of the work may include some or all of the following and other related services: — Review of existing project documentation, — Duties relating to fulfilling the roles of Designer and Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP) pursuant to the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations, 2006, — Administration and supervision of advance works contracts, — Preparation of the design build tender contract documentation, — Employers representative for management and administration of the construction contract tendering process, — Employers representative for the administration and supervision of the construction contract, — Project management duties including progress reporting, financial reporting etc., — And other ancillary services.
