RN00110-N5 Ballaghaderreen bypass road project - engineering consultancy services (Phases 5-7). Roscommon County Council requires Engineering Consultancy Services in respect of the N5 Ballaghaderreen bypass road project in order to advance the project through the tender, construction and closeout stages (Phases 5-7 inclusive of the 2010 NRA Project Management Guidelines). The N5 Ballaghaderreen bypass road project comprises the construction of new national primary road (approx. 14km long) and all ancillary works. It is intended to procure the project using the Design Build form of contract. The services to be provided include without limitation: 1. Assisting the contracting authority during the Design Build Tendering process; 2. Administration of the design build Contract including fulfilling the role of Employer’s Representative and monitoring of the construction contract; and 3. Assisting the Contracting Authority during the Closeout phase of the project. The work is to be carried out in accordance with relevant National Roads Authority (NRA) publications including without limitation: -. (a) 2010 NRA Project Management Guidelines (PMG); (b) NRA Cost Management Manual (March 2010); (c) NRA Project Appraisal Guidelines; and (d) NRA Contract Administration Guidelines.
