Public works contract for building works designed by the employer. The Multi-User Education Campus Project at Knockaconny in Co. Monaghan is anticipated to involve the demolition of all the existing buildings on the former army barracks site and the construction of a 16-classroom primary school, a 400-pupil post-primary school, a 700-pupil institute of further education, a sports hall/fitness centre and a theatre. It is anticipated that site works will include internal road network, car parking, ball courts, miscellaneous stores, landscaping and a new roundabout on N12. Further ancillary buildings may be required. It is anticipated that the total development area will be approximately 16 000 m2.
