Design and Build permanent school buildings, using rapid construction methods, in up to 4 lots, each lot comprising 1 -2 No. 16 Classroom Schools in the Dublin commuter belt and Co. Cork. Framework agreement for design and build of permanent school buildings, using rapid construction methods, in accordance with the tender procedure described below. Further tenders may be issued, under the framework agreement, for additional schools in 2009, 2010 and 2011, in various locations in the Republic of Ireland. As part of the framework agreement, schools will be tendered in Lots containing between 1 and 4 schools. Schools within each Lot may be primary or post-primary (or a combination) and may vary in size up to 16 classroom (typically) or larger. Tenders will be for design and build of permanent schools, based on Department of Education and Science template designs and employing rapid construction methods which will achieve the required delivery programme.
