County Dublin Vocational Education Committee are seeking a design and build consortium comprising a contractor and a full design team to design and build a post-primary school at Donabate, Co. Dublin. The project involves the design and construction of a 1000 pupil post primary school including the provision of playing courts and parking facilities. The schools project is located on c8 acres of land. The school is required for occupation on 1st September 2010 with client fit out completed prior to this date. The buildings will be procured on a Design and Build basis with payments on a milestone basis. The form of contract will be the Public Works Contract for Building Works Designed by the Contractor, dated 15th August 2007, as published by the Department of Finance. All intrested candidates are required to complete a Prequalification Questionnaire which is available on the e-tenders website www.e-tenders.gov.ie.
