Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: New Community School at Mountrath County Laois. General Building Contractors and the following Specialist Sub-Contractors (a) Mechanical (b) Electrical (c) Window/Curtain Walling (d) Lift (e) Fitted Furniture. Applications are invited from suitably qualified main contractors and specialist sub-contractors (as listed above) who wish to be included on the approved tender list from which tenders will be invited for the above project. The proposed new Mountrath Community School is a two storey building with about 6230sqm of accommodation on two levels, including teaching rooms, a Physical Education Hall, 5 hard court play areas and car parking for 50 cars. The existing school will remain in occupation of its existing buildings during the course of the construction period. Upon completion of the new building, the school will decant to the new school building and their existing buildings will be demolished.
