Construction work for gas pipelines

Title attributed to the contract by the contracting entity: BGE Networks Extension to Towns in Kildare, Laois and Tipperary. Extension of the BGE Natural Gas Network to Monasterevin in Co. Kildare and continuing from Monasterevin to Portarlington, Co. Laois. It will also be required to extend the Natural Gas Network in Co. Tipperary to the towns of Cahir and Cashel. The works will consist of the main laying of 4 bar PE100 pipes up to 315mm in diameter for the Feeder routes to the towns, as well as the construction of the 4 bar and 75mbar distribution networks within the towns of Monasterevin, Cahir and Cashel. It is expected construction work will begin in Spring 2008 and will involve construction planning and supervision, project management, purchase of materials from BGE approved suppliers, mainlaying of pipes sizing from 90mm to 315mm and related activities.
