Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Blackrock Senior College Redevelopment including Extensions and Refurbishment of Existing Buildings. The works consist of the demolition of part existing buildings on site, the construction of a new basement with 3 floor levels above attached to an existing listed structure which will be refurbished to include senior college facilities and a new library facility for Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council. The new structure is approximately 3 630 m2 with 250 m2 of atrium and garden space and the remaining existing structure is approximately 1 790 m2. The existing listed structure will require all works to be carried out in accordance with the current legislation and statutory obligations pertaining to listed buildings. All associated site services and external site development works associated with this development will be carried out within this contract.
