HSE Replacement Mental Health Facilities - Enabling works package (Version II). The works, in broad terms, consist of the site preparation for a HSE Mental Health residential accommodation extending to circa 8,300 sq. metres and related elements of infrastructural works which will facilitate the above and be consistent with the future development of the Grangegorman site. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the works may include without limitation: — Site investigations, — Site preparation incl. demolition / removal /etc, — Site clearance incl. gurbbing up / site strip / disposal off-site / backfill / tree removal / protection / grass re-seeding / etc, — Site hoarding, — Access roads / hardstandings / etc, — Foul and Surface drainage including attenuation tanks / soak aways / etc, — Site lighting and association ducting / etc, — MV ducting / ESB ducting / WLAN ducting / ELV ducting / Inspection chambers / water main / BT ducting / NTL ducting / Eircom ducting / Pre-insulated district heating pipework / etc including all associated works, — Interface / connections to public services infrasture, — Potential gas mains / gas skid works / etc. In addition, the works will include the safe and effective removal of invasive plant species (including, but not limited to, noxious plants such as Giant Hogweed and others such as Japanese Knotweed). The currently estimated infestation covers an area of circa 13 000 sq. meters. The works will involve the successful contractor taking an active role in liaising with the local community and project stakeholders etc, providing updates / forums for discussion etc. The above description of the works is intended as a broad description and a more detailed description will be provided at Tender stage.
