Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: New Garda Station Rochestown Avenue, Kill O The Grange, County Dublin. The works consist of the construction of a three storey detached Garda Station. This is a three storey concrete frame building with a two storey over basement. External finishes will be brick and painted render. The windows and doors will be powder coat metal clad timber. The floor area is 2 475m2 which will include cellular offices of varying size and a secure wing to be situated over a Property and Exhibit Store at basement level. A single level car deck will cover the rear of the site and there will be a separate Garage, Store Building and Standby Generator in the car park, which is 124m2 in area, with adjacent Oil Storage. The site boundary wall to the sides and rear will be 2,4m high rendered block-work. A new vehicular and pedestrian entrance is proposed off Rochestown Avenue. The telecommunications mast will be galvanised metal lattice type approx 36m high measured from level of Rochestown Avenue and it will be located to the rear in the car park.
