Framework agreement for NRA ITS consultancy services. The Contracting Authority (The National Roads Authority - NRA) proposes to procure on its own behalf ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) Consultancy Services. It is envisaged to set-up a single operator framework agreement with a suitably qualified consultant to provide administrative and technical management support services in relation to the NRA's ITS programme and ITS projects. It is anticipated that during the 4 year period of the framework agreement, the successful candidate will be awarded a number of call-off contracts (task orders), which will involve some or all ofthe following: — Easyway/EU programme project management, technical and administrative support, — ITS equipment maintenance contract management, — ITS vision and strategy support, — ITS deployment – project management of procurement through to installation – to include the following: — Fibre & CCTV deployment along M50 including integration with traffic management centre in DPT, — VMS deployment on existing structures within the GDA, — VMS deployment on new structures outside the GDA, — ANPR deployment on Major Inter Urbans. Integration with existing journey time calculation system. General ITS Consultancy Support to assist in the following: — ITS systems integration with DPT traffic management centre, — Integration with Traffic Counter and WIM deployment programme, — Development and management of existing nratraffic website, — ITS systems architecture and standards development, — ERT deployment programme, — Network traffic management & operations, — Integration with other ITS initiatives.
