Project management of the implementation and change process for the CPD & PEARs policy programmes. The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) is the statutory body charged with the regulation of the pharmacy sector in Ireland. The PSI commissioned a number of reports: (i) a review of the 5-year programme of education and training required for the pharmacists qualification in Ireland; (ii) a review of accreditation models and accreditation criteria; and (iii) a review of international CPD models to propose an appropriate model of Continuing Professional Development. The PSI Council adopted the recommendations of these reports in June 2010. The PSI now invites suitably qualified parties to assist in the implementation of the recommendations of these reports.
