Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Medico Legal Centre. The development comprises a 2 storey Medico-Legal Centre building (to replace existing temporary accommodation within the same grounds) with stone clad elevations in a walled garden, enclosed with a stone clad wall secured with gates. The building comprises offices and administration, post mortem rooms, technical areas and laboratories, records storage and plant, with 14 car parking spaces for visitors and staff. The proposed site is bounded on the North by part of the original walled garden of the former Marino House demense, on the East by Greene Park, on the South by a new boundary wall 37 m from the existing boundary wall between the Fire Brigade Training Centre and St.Vincents Sports Ground. The new facility will share the existing access driveway from the Malahide Rd entrance, with the O'Brien Institute building. An existing internal access road will be utilized to serve the new facility and a new road will be constructed for use by the Fire Brigade Training Centre , linking the existing roads within the Training Centre. The approximate gross internal floor area is 1,911 Sq M, comprising Ground Floor 1,143 Sq M, Mezzanine floor, 28 Sq M and First floor, 740 Sq M.
