Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Scoil Bhride Primary School, Kill, Co.Kildare - construction of (5 406 sqm) Primary School Building. The development will consist of the construction of 960 pupil (5 406 sqm) Primary School Building over 2 storeys and part 3 storey. The development will also consist of a new entrance off Kill Link East Road, new boundary fencing comprising steel galvanized railings on a rendered low level wall to the North, South & Eastern boundaries, palisade fencing to the Western boundary, a new access road, car parking with 56 no spaces, a new hard play area, bus turning circle & enclosure for a new ESB substation, located in the North Eastern corner of the site, accessed off Kill Link East Road. Construction work has already commenced on site previously but due to insolvency of the previous contractor, the contract has been determined. The new contractor appointed will be required to assume liability for all construction works carried out in relation to the project prior to the award date of this new contract. The new contractor will be required to assume liability for any existing defects which will be deemed to be defects in the appointed contractor's own works for the purpose of the new contract.
