Grand Canal Square Re-configuration. Construction work for the redevelopment of the existing Square adjacent to Grand Canal Dock in Dublin 2 over an area of approx 9 000 sq m, including associated site works and services. The redevelopment works will be carried out to the contracting authority's design. Due to co-ordination with adjoining developments, the works may be carried out over three phases and further information on phasing will be set out in the pre-qualification documents. Part of the redevelopment works will be over an existing basement car park and across public roads. Specialist packages including mechanical, lift services, landscaping and others will be provided through nominated sub-contractors may be the subject of separate advertisements as the Contracting Authority considers appropriate. The electrical services have already been separately advertised.
