Sutherland School of Law - main works contract. University College Dublin is issuing this qualification questionnaire inviting expressions of interest as the first stage of a two-stage process under the restricted procedure. The purpose of the first stage is to obtain information from applicants to determine their suitability on the basis of financial standing, technical competence and capability and relevant experience to carry out the project. Please note this is not a tender document. Suitably qualified candidates will be shortlisted, drawn randomly and invited to tender for the award of the position of contractor for the project described in this and attached documents. It is the intention of the Contracting Authority to use the random selection method to select up to the first ten (10) suitably qualified candidates to be brought forward to the second stage, Invitation to Tender. Please note the Specialists (both selected and novated by the Contracting Authority) will be tendered for using a separate contract notice to this (restricted procedure also). The names of each specialist will be listed in the main contract tender documents. The Sutherland School of Law is a landmark new-build project, the site for which is located south east of the existing Quinn School of Business on the main Belfield campus of University College Dublin. The main building works for the scheme involve approximately 6 100 square metres of new space over three floors comprising lecture theatres, classrooms, administration/office space, a moot court area with supporting preparation areas, atrium/circulation and break-out spaces with a ground floor cafรฉ and supporting plant space.
