Preventative maintenance and responsive repair services. An Post National Lottery Company is licensed to operate the National Lottery by the Minister for Finance on the Minister's behalf in accordance with the National Lottery Act 1986. The National Lottery commenced operations in March 1987 with the purpose of operating a world-class lottery for the people of Ireland, raising funds for good causes, on behalf of the Government. The National Lottery now wishes to award a framework contract for the provision of preventative maintenance and responsive repair services at National Lottery Headquarters in Abbey street Lower, Dublin 1 and also at its off-site location in the Dublin area. The National Lottery operations are carried out on a 24/7 basis. The National Lottery gives no guarantee or warranty as to the number, nature or volume of orders to be received as responsive repairs. The National Lottery will use the Restricted Procedure for the award of the contract and now invites Expressions of Interest for these services from suitably qualified contractors with proven experience. Interested parties are asked to respond by providing the information stated which is in the form of a pre-qualification questionnaire available to download from www.etenders.gov.ie. Following evaluation of responses the National Lottery will short-list a minimum of five applicants (provided there is this number who meet the qualification criteria) and will provide these short-listed firms with tender documents and invite them to tender.
