Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Supply of Utilities Process Controls System. The contract comprises the supply and delivery of one (1) Utilities Process Controls System (UPCS) (the "Goods"). The system will be an industry recognised PLC/SCADA based system that will incorporate a Data Historian. The primary functions of the control system will be as outlined below. Provide the control functionality for a purified water distribution system. (Purified Water Generation and storage will be by others.) 2. Provide the operator interface for selection and monitoring of CIP recipes from a CIP skid (supplied by others), for all major process equipment in a pilot plant area. Co-ordinate the interface and transfer routes between the CIP skid and the process equipment control systems to successfully execute CIP procedures. This co-ordination will be executed over a dedicated Profibus DP control layer. Provide a data historian system to collect Process Data from the process equipment control systems for analysis and report generation. Interface to approximately 20 process equipment packages using ISO Ethernet protocol for data collection and alarm monitoring. Provide an out of hour’s text messaging system from the SCADA for notification of any critical alarms from the Process Systems. Provision of all PLC, SCADA and LAN network hardware components, including Clean Room operator interface terminals and KVM extender modules associated with UPCS. (Excludes third party process packages) 8. Provision of hardware and software engineering services 9. Provision of commissioning services for the UPCS and the interaction with the process equipment skids. Provision of a stand alone Barcode scanning system for the identification of frozen vials in storage. This system is not linked to the UPCS.
