Automated medium throughput patch-clamp recording unit suitable for assessing ion channel biophysics and pharmacology, mechanisms of action of drugs, identify disease-related alterations in ion channels and medium throughput screening of drug candidates is required. The product shall be supplied as independent units or an integrated system. Tenders will not be accepted for only the patch-clamp amplifiers. If you can only supply one of these parts then you must join with a supplier of the other component to make a joint proposal. The unit shall operate at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure. Multiple sharp electrode-based approach will not be considered.
