Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Training for new Public Works Contracts, Standard Conditions of Engagement & Guidance Material. To deliver a training programme to public servants based on training material already developed on the new Public Works Contracts and Standard Conditions of Engagements at locations to be determined throughout Ireland. The number of public servants that are expected to attend the training modules (25 - 35 people per module) will vary from 500 to 1 500. It is expected that in the region of 700 public servants will be trained in the first six months of the framework agreement with the remainder being trained within twelve months. The Department of Finance in setting up this framework agreement is only acting as facilitator for those public bodies using the agreement. The award of contracts will be the responsibility of the contracting authorities following the holding of a mini-competition. The work is divided into two lots: Lot 1: deals with the delivery of a training programme on the Standard Conditions of Engagement for Construction Consultants and associated Guidance Material. deals with the delivery of a training programme on the new Public Works Contracts and associated Guidance Material. Candidates may apply for inclusion on one, or all Lots.
