Pre qualification questionnaire for the design of a Campus Masterplan for LIT Moylish Campus. Limerick Institute of Technology, is a progressive higher education institution offering a wide range of courses at Higher Certificate (level 6) Ordinary Degree (level 7), Honours degree (level 8), Masters Degree (level 9) and Doctorate (level 10) to full and part time students. The mission of the Institute revolves around a unique educational philosophy of active learning. At present, the Institute has over 6 000 students and is developing so as to meet the educational challenges of the future. LIT wishes to invite tenders to provide a service to deliver a physical development plan of the Moylish campus and masterplanning services for the next LIT masterplan. This includes all necessary elements of a full design team, including, as a minimum, architectural, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and quantity surveying services. The successful tenderer will be expected to act as the Main Contractor for all the services required. LIT occupies the Moylish Campus, Clare Street Campus, Georges Quay, the Ennis Regional Learning Centre and has recently entered a partnership with Tipperary Institute with 2 campuses that will become known as LIT Thurles Campus and LIT Clonmel Campus. LIT reserve the right to seek additional campus master planning services for its other campuses in the future if the need arises. LIT has in place a Master Plan completed in 2001. The successful tenderer will be required to develop on this plan in light of development achieved, developments in progress, and future requirements out to 2025. The successful tenderer will be required to complete the assignment within the agreed timeframe which is expected to be within 3 months of appointment except where otherwise discussed and agreed in advance with LIT. The masterplan contract will be awarded on the most economically advantageous tender submitted.
