Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority: Appointment of an Architect for Proposed Office/Technology Development at SFZ East, Shannon. Shannon Development strategy is to provide a new circa 80 000 sq ft office/technology building with provisions for full car parking and site development works at Shannon Free Zone East, Shannon, Co. Clare. The project consultancy services required will be split into two phases. The first phase will include Stages 1, 2a and 2b as outlined in the RFT and detailed in the Shannon Development Design Team Procedures First Edition July 2009. The second phase will include Stages 2c, 3, 4 and 5 as outlined in the RFT and detailed in the Shannon Development Design Team Procedures First Edition July 2009. Shannon Development will appoint a suitably qualified firm of Architects to provide and coordinate full Architectural, Project Management (to include Employer’s Representative) and Project Supervisor Design Process consultancy services to complete all stages 1 to 5 inclusive as outlined in the RFT and detailed in Shannon Development Design Team Procedures First Edition July 2009. The appointment will also include for provision, coordination and management of all additional required consultancy services for the first phase (Stages 1, 2a and 2b) of the project up to and including the point where full planning permission has been granted by Clare County Council for the full development works. All additional required consultancy services are detailed in Shannon Development Design Team Procedures First Edition July 2009 and include Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Landscape Design (to include Tree Survey), Soil Analysis/Site Investigation.
