This contract involves archaeological investigation, recording and excavation in addition to a topographical and photographic survey which are taking place in advance of a major construction project. The contract may be extended for the Archaeological Resolution of features identified during test trenching and GPR surveys. All works take place adjacent an existing water supply source, Lough Mourne, adjacent the N15 between Ballybofey and Donegal Town in County Donegal. Some works are also to be carried out in an adjoining Special Area of Conservation.
