The Contracting Authority is seeking the provision of hospital-based clinical research support services to recruit and follow approximately 150 patients over an 18-month period, with six study visits per patient (900 total visits), and to achieve a minimum recruitment rate of 15 patients per month. The appointed tenderer will be required to deliver end-to-end patient screening, recruitment, consent, onboarding and follow-up, supported by sufficient qualified research nursing capacity to manage approximately 4โ€“5 patient appointments per working day. The service must also include competent phlebotomy, biological sample handling and secure data entry, together with arrangements for the storage, courier transport and laboratory processing of CRP, ESR and Faecal Calprotectin samples (approximately 600 total measurements), ensuring full regulatory compliance, traceability, data protection and proportionate sustainability measures throughout service delivery.
