Foul effluent is backing up the sewers and impacting the toilets and sinks within the school. This effluent is also overflowing the existing wastewater treatment plant, creating a potential environmental issue. Given the characteristics of the site, management of effluent on site is not feasible. Foul effluent from the school should discharge via a foul wastewater pump to the Uisce Eireann waste water treatment plant.
