Main site or place of performance:
TIIโs Network Operations team, which is part of TIIโs Network Management Division, requires a Technical Service Advisor to provide oversight, strategic guidance, proactive management, technical advice, supervision, tendering and management services in connection with existing tunnel operations and the Motorway Operations Control Centre, for a six year contract with options to extend for a further 6 years. Services may include, but are not limited to, the following:
โข Providing technical advice and monitoring compliance with Tunnel Safety Directive obligations across all tunnels on the national road network;
โข Conducting contract management and administration, performance monitoring activities and operational supervision;
โข Conducting periodic audits, targeted inspections and compliance checks on operations, processes and procedures;
โข Reviewing and advising on key documentation and deliverables;
โข Supporting contract-related decision-making and advising on matters relating to Contract administration or any other contract that may be entered into;
โข Development and management of detailed project work;
โข Evaluating contractor submissions, including Task Orders and Compensation Events;
โข Assessment and written verification of Contractor payment applications, ensuring that payments being made are properly due under the various contracts, represent good value for money for TII and that appropriate and auditable records are maintained;
โข Delivering expert highly specialist technical advice at pre-agreed rates with TII; and
โข Providing ad hoc advice as may be required by the Authority in relation to the services provision, which may include legal or commercial advice related to the Services as outlined in the Information Memorandum and Pre-qualification Questionnaire .
