The LDA ("the Contracting Authority") hereby gives notice that it has decided to discontinue the procurement procedure in respect of the originally published tender without awarding a contract.
This decision is made in accordance with Regulation 55(1)(b) of the European Union (Award of Public Authority Contracts) Regulations 2016 (S.I. No. 284 of 2016).
The Contracting Authority, following a review, has determined that its requirements and the most appropriate route to market now merit reconsideration. As such, the continuation of the current procedure is no longer justified, and it is therefore being brought to an end.
This decision does not give rise to any entitlement to compensation on the part of any candidate or tenderer, and the Contracting Authority shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of any costs, expenses, or liabilities incurred by any party in connection with this procurement.
Should a revised or alternative procurement procedure be initiated, it shall be advertised in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
