SMARTPLY Europe DAC is looking for suitably qualified companies to upgrade both the male and female bathrooms located at our site in Belview Slieverue Waterford X91 PX75. The bathrooms are adjacent to the canteen, just off the main entrance in the SmartPly building. The project is to enhance the outdated bathroom facilities and replace the poorly functioning existing services. Civil/Structural Scope of Works The main contractor is responsible for coordination of mechanical and electrical strip out including removal and correct means of disposal of all equipment and material from strip out works. The Main contractor to remove and strip out existing furniture, flooring and ceiling. Temporary access door to canteen from office block - with weather cover The main contractor is responsible for coordinating mechanical and electrical services installation as part of project schedule. Main contractor responsible for supply and installation of all items shown on the CSA Drawings and Documents Electrical Scope of Works This document sets out the basis requirements for the strip out, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the Electrical Systems at the Smartply Toilet upgrade project. The Electrical Contractor shall supply, install, test + commission all equipment as specified and/or indicated on the drawings and outlined in the electrical specification. Contractor responsible for strip out + isolation electrical services: • Isolate smoke heads while keeping loop in operation. • Strip out of general services • Strip out of lighting • Electrical wiring associated with Mechanical ventilation system o Ventilation cw supply and return air fan – with pressure control Contractor responsible for installation testing and commissioning of electrical services: • Installation of required containment • Installation of new smoke heads and commissioning • Installation and associated wiring of light new fittings PIR controlled • Emergency lighting • Installation of general services • Wring of mechanical ventilation system ( PIR and timeclock controlled) • Wiring of automatic urinal flushing system. • Bonding of all equipment • Comply with building program requirements. • Provision of accurate O+M manuals and “As Installed” drawings. Mechanical Scope of Works: The scope of this contract consists of the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete mechanical services installation for the areas as outlined above, as shown on the tender drawings, and as specified in these documents. The general extent of Mechanical Services Installation is as follows: • Strip out of all existing mechanical services including isolation and disconnection while not distribution services to adjacent rooms Bonding of all equipment. ( water, ventilation, above ground drainage, removal of sanitary wear, disposal by main contractor • New water services throughout the bathroom with pipe work to be upgraded inside the toilets envelope • Above ground drainage to be replaced and all pipe work to be hidden behind integrated plumbing solution panelling (IPS) • Installation of a new ventilation system that has air intake and extract louvres though building façade on the 1st floor. Consisting of a new HRU to be located in the 1st floor storeroom. • Replace radiators and replace pipe work as necessary • Duct work to be inspected and if deemed adequate to remain. • Co-ordination with other trades and main contractor. • Comply with building program + phasing requirements. • Testing, commissioning, proving, demonstrating and handover of installation. • Provision of accurate O+M manuals and “As Installed” drawings **Please see the tender document and additional specification documents attached**
